Beautiful Meath Tours was founded by Derek Smith who is a historian with a wealth of experience in the tourism sector in Ireland.

The business idea was borne from his passion for the delights that Ireland has to offer, a journey which for him developed from his early years growing up in the Royal County of Meath – a region steeped in history with sights of archaeological significance such as Newgrange that are known the world over.
