CRS Cold Storage

In 1992, the CRS story began, with CRS Refrigeration becoming incorporated.  The company's core business activities were centred around quayside reefer services such as temperature monitoring, pre-trip inspection and refrigeration equipment repair.  

Today, CRS Refrigeration assist some of the largest shipping line companies with their reefer requirements and have established agencies with refrigeration suppliers such as Carrier Transicold, Mitsubishi & Thermoking.

CRS Refrigeration has diversified into some different markets including, all forms of commercial refrigeration, refrigerated is containers, air conditioning, cold rooms, ice machines and catering equipment where we provide sales, service and repair.

In 1994 CRS Rent A Fridge was born, which later began trading as CRS Mobile Cold Storage.  A gap in the market was spotted. We realised that companies from a wide range of industries required extra, on site, temperature controlled storage space.

Initially, CRS Mobile Cold Storage rented out standard refrigerated containers or reefers as they are commonly known.  However, over the years as CRS has grown and developed, through considerable investment in R&D and listening to our customers needs we now boast a range of exciting cold storage products.

    60kw blast freezers available for global export

    Pharma Grade portable cold stores

At CRS, we operate a 24-hour emergency call out service to all units that are on hire and under service contracts.

We have the largest team of skilled service engineers in the portable cold storage industry, who can respond quickly & efficiently in the unlikely event of a machine breakdown. With service engineers who have worked with CRS for 30 years, there is no problem that we have not resolved successfully before.

Today, CRS Mobile Cold Storage operate primarily in Ireland and the UK, but with many of our products suitable for export, we strive to help customers wherever they are!
