BREXIT Breakfast Briefing

This week Meath Chamber hosted a BREXIT Breakfast Briefing in the Ardboyne Hotel Navan.  Special word of thanks to our guest speakers who addressed a packed attendance. The Q&A which followed was an opportunity for business and the farming community to Meath to voice their concerns and to thank the guest speaker for their updates, predictions and safeguards as we prepare for BREXIT

Guest speakers included:

Táiniste Simon Coveney.

Minister Helen McEntee, Foreign Affairs

John McGrane, CEO British Irish Chamber

Damian McDonnell, Director General of IFA.

Paula McCaul, CEO County Meath Chamber

“We are delighted to welcome such a large turnout from a broad spectrum of business across Co. Meath. It is wonderful to see such engagement in relation to BREXIT which will inevitably throw up winners and losers in the business community. Industries that are poorly represented will undoubtedly suffer, while those who pull together, plan well and cooperate for the best mutual outcomes will prosper.  County Meath Chamber of Commerce through its affiliation with Chambers Ireland is in a strong strategic position to contribute proactively as the voice of the businesses in Meath. Our Chamber derives its strength from the commitment and direct involvement of our members and partners. It is vitally important that Meath based business continue to engage with its County Chamber to ensure that they are in the best possible position to avail of opportunities or to minimise any potential negative impacts of BREXIT”
