“I'm thrilled to be celebrating the achievements of women in business. As a champion of diversity and inclusion, I firmly believe that women-owned businesses are a powerful engine driving economic growth and innovation. I'm proud to say that Meta is dedicated to supporting the vibrant business community in Meath, and empowering women to succeed is a key part of that commitment. On a personal level, this is hugely important to me and by sharing my own experiences, I hope to inspire a new generation of leaders to thrive and shape the future of our economy” - Anne O’Leary, VP of Mid-Market SMB Group, EMEA and Head of Meta Ireland.

Anne is also the President of IBEC and has extensive experience in the world of tech including being a former CEO in Vodafone Ireland.

“We end our year by shining a spotlight on women leaders in tech. We are honoured to welcome Anne O’Leary, Head of Meta Ireland to address the Meath Women in Biz & Tech network.  Anne’s remarkable career to date will no doubt inspire future leaders in startup and technology.” said Paula McCaul, Chief Executive of County Meath Chamber.

Aoife Fegan, Senior Enterprise Development Officer with Meath LEO said, “we are looking forward to welcoming business owners and entrepreneurs from all parts of the county to what has become an important quarterly gathering for all women in business and tech.”

Joining Anne O’Leary and Kate Scott, is Caitlin O’Connor, who is a mentor with the Local Enterprise Office.

“Caitlin will offer her expertise on exporting. We hope you will leave the event with advice on how you can grow your business on a global scale and hear what supports and grant aid may be available to you wherever you are on your business journey,” Aoife added.

The guests will chat to MC Elaine Keogh, co-founder of Solstice Media Ltd and former journalist/broadcaster.

Reflecting on the year that was Paula McCaul added “It’s been a remarkable journey for the Women in Business and Tech Network.  The year began with International Women's Day in March with an ‘Inspire Inclusion’ theme. In June we celebrated ‘Leaders in Sustainability & Style’, in September we emphasized the importance of ‘Mind, Body & Soul Wellness in Business.’ Together, we’ve broken barriers, built meaningful connections, and inspired change, proving that when women thrive, industries flourish. Here’s to celebrating our successes and driving forward into an even brighter future!”

Some seats are still available to book online.
