County Meath Chamber are delighted to announce that Mí Meath has been shortlisted in the Digital Business category of the .IE Digital Town Awards 2023.
This category is for projects that can demonstrate the creation and implementation of digital strategies to promote businesses.
Launched in 2021 by County Meath Chamber, Mí Meath is an exclusive, county wide, reloadable shopping card, the first of its kind in Ireland. Mí Meath cards can be spent with over 500 stores across Meath both instore and online. The Mí Meath intiative is managed and promoted by County Meath Chamber with support from Meath County Council.
The Mí Meath card has proven to be very popular - in part due to its uniqueness for keeping consumer spend in Meath, as well as for the convenience to be able to reload more money onto the card. Whilst it is bought as a gift for weddings, birthdays, confirmations, communions, teacher gifts, Christmas, and other special occasions, many also buy it for personal use and as an alternative to carrying cash. Mí Meath is also now the card of choice for corporate and staff incentive and reward schemes in Meath. There are no hidden charges or nasty fees.

We have also been delighted with the number of retailers who have, and continue to, register with us to accept the Mí Meath card in their stores and online, as they recognise the advantages of accepting the Mí Meath card”.
