Wellman International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Indorama Ventures PCL, is both the leading European producer of recycled polyester staple fibre and recycler of polyethylene terephthalate (rPET ).  Based in Mullagh, Co Meath, Wellman has a fibre production capacity of 90KT, converting in excess of 4.2 Billion plastics annually into recycled polyester fibre products across Automotive, Hygiene & Health, Industrial and Home & Apparel applications.   

Operating since 1973, Wellman International has pioneered PET recycling and fibre production technologies. Employing 270 people at the site in Co Cavan, the company also employs a further 210 people at its rPET Flake & Chip Processing facilities in France and the Netherlands.
