Stretching from the edge of Dublin City to the border with Northern Ireland, LMFM is the largest Local radio station outside of Dublin and Cork, broadcasting to a population in excess of 300,000 adults. Independent listener ship surveys show that LMFM has been the market leader throughout its franchise area for the last five years, commanding an average of 37% of all time listened to radio each weekday and over 45% at weekends. Such a level of listenership is significantly ahead of both RTE Radio1 and 2FM and is almost double the concentration attained by the Dublin city stations 98FM or FM104.
