Welcome to our next Business of the Fortnight and Member of County Meath Chamber Earls Kitchen.

Earl’s Kitchen is a bustling little café in the centre of Navan. Owned and run by award winning chef, Sandra Earl, "our mission has always been to serve fresh and delicious high quality food".

Question 1. Can you describe your business? We are a Cafe Called Earls Kitchen, Deli and Bakery. Our Emphasis is on high quality service, fresh food, take – away and home catering. We serve a speciality of Teas and Coffees. We only use the highest quality ingredients and support local businesses by sourcing from local suppliers.
Question 2. What are the advantages of being located in Meath? Meath is a busy business County and Navan has a large population. We are lucky to be situated in the centre of Navan where foot traffic is consistent where we are located.
Question 3. How long have you been located/operating in Meath? We have been based in Navan fortunately for over 14 years. We are very grateful to our long standing customer base who have made this possible.
Question 4. Why do your customers choose to do business with you? I think the high quality of our produce is what has impacted our customers, along with our customer service and the input of our staff to care for our customer’s needs.
Question 5. Why did you join County Meath Chamber? It is good to be part of an organization that works together to promote services and businesses in County Meath.
Question 6. Have you any future developments in the pipeline? Due to on- going restrictions we have expanded our takeaway service. We continue to provide our freshly baked and cooked food. Our focus is on being creative in these strange times and keeping our customers safe when they enter our premises.
Question 7. Do you have anything you would like us to promote on your behalf? I would like to promote the quality of our food and service. We use freshly made produce. We have a selection of Freshly made Cookies, Cakes, Bread and ready made salads/ Sandwiches too takeaway. Coffee and tea is available also to takeaway. We also have menus for catering for the Family at home.
Question 8. How do you add value to your customers wants and needs? We like to provide a high quality produce, and a good service for our customers. We like to work with clients and advise them on our services which are available.
Question 9. Any advice for new businesses starting up? Have a good, strong product or service. Have faith, keep going no matter the obstacles and work hard. Don’t be afraid to take a chance.
Question 10. How has Covid –19 affected your business and what steps have you made to go forward? We have had too close our sit down area totally due to restrictions. This has been a strange time for us as a business along with every other business owner. We have had to learn to adapt in such a short space of time. We have increased our take away and catering services which is what we are solely focused on for the foreseeable future.
