About Us
Since these early beginnings in 1976 Anglo Irish Refrigeration, AIR Group has become somewhat of an ‘institute’ in relation to the business of retailing, wholesaling and servicing all types of refrigeration equipment in the 32 counties of Ireland. The company relocated to it's present location in Ashbourne, Co. Meath in 1980. Over the years AIR has developed many long-standing customers and a presence throughout the country. Portglenone Refrigeration was formed in 1988 and has since become one of the leading refrigeration and air conditioning companies in Northern Ireland. Acquired by Anglo Refrigeration in 2006, it strengthened the company’s all-Ireland coverage and the growing Portglenone team of service, maintenance and installation engineers now provide top-quality work to leading group retail companies as well as numerous independent stores. Food Equipment Solutions (FES) was established to provide a dedicated service for all market segments of the retail food sector. FES consults with clients as to their specific needs and then devises a customised solution that also acts as a profit centre for their business. Anglo Irish Refrigeration are Ireland’s number one refrigeration equipment supplier, contractor and installer. We can supply, deliver, and install all types of air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, ovens, coldrooms and freezer rooms all over Ireland, everything that a customer or client in the food industry would need to carry out their business. We carry out this work all over Ireland, and in the UK. In the past we have also worked in Russia and in Algeria. Other areas that we specialise in are the supply and commissioning of energy saving devices to existing systems such as glass doors, EC fans, LED lighting and speed control devices.
