County Meath Chamber encourages Meath business owners to support the Mí Meath shop local card this Christmas and keep Meath moving.
As businesses get back on their feet and look at rewarding their staff after an unprecedented 18 months, County Meath Chamber are asking Meath businesses to look to Mí Meath for staff bonuses and incentives this Christmas. Mí Meath Cards qualify under the Governments Small Benefits Exemption Scheme where company Directors and Employees can receive a non-cash bonus of up to €500 in value on a completely tax-free basis each year. By buying the Mí Meath cards for your staff you are saving money while boosting local retail. If you have not availed of the SBE scheme so far in 2021, you can do before 31st December 2021.
The Mí Meath card has NO reducing balance, and it does not expire, unlike other vouchers. Mí Meath cards can be personalised to include a corporate name and they can be topped up so that the cardholder can continue to avail of exclusive offers when they choose to shop local. Offering unrivalled choice, the Mí Meath card can be used for the purchase of consumer goods and services from ALL business sectors operating within County Meath, both online and in-store.

Every €10 spent locally on Irish products generates more than €40 of benefit to the local community in terms of employment.
