Meath Business Owners Network, MBON Mid-Year Momentum
The Meath Business Owners Network (MBON), proudly sponsored by PTSB, is thriving in 2025 bringing together a dynamic community of local entrepreneurs and business leaders through a carefully curated programme of events delivered by County Meath Chamber.
At the heart of MBON is connection. It’s a space where members actively share knowledge, offer support, and build meaningful relationships with fellow business owners who understand the realities of running a business in Meath. Whether attending an expert-led seminar or stepping inside a member business, the circular nature of the network where members learn from and do business with each other is what makes it so impactful.
In the first six months of 2025 alone, over 200 businesses have participated in MBON events. The network meets monthly on the second last Friday at 10am, offering a consistent and welcoming space for members to connect and grow.
This year’s programme has included high-impact seminars on essential topics such as funding opportunities, cyber security, financial management, and HR consultancy. These are complemented by exclusive site visits to some of the Chamber’s larger member businesses. Highlights to date include visits to Indaver Ireland in Duleek and the Tayto Snacks facility in Ashbourne, where attendees engaged directly with the Managing Directors. The next visit will bring MBON to the family-run Boann Distillery in Drogheda, Co. Meath.
The response from members has been overwhelmingly positive. The network is growing rapidly, with participants not only gaining valuable insights but also reporting new business wins and collaborative partnerships as a direct result of their involvement.

MBON is free to attend for Chamber members, who are also welcome to bring a business contact. For non-members, annual membership starts at just €250, offering access not only to MBON but to a full calendar of Chamber supports and events.
