Planning permission granted for two key grid infrastructure projects. The Kildare-Meath and the East Meath-North Dublin Grid upgrades come after an extensive period of consultation with the local communities.
An Bord Pleanála has granted planning permission for the #Kildare - #Meath Grid Upgrade and the East Meath-North #Dublin Grid Upgrade.
This milestone for the projects is a significant step towards meeting Ireland’s growing electricity demand and will be integral in delivering Ireland’s climate targets.
Delivering new grid infrastructure is critical to enabling new housing delivery across Ireland and to achieve the decarbonisation of the grid.
