Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary Road Closure - N51 (Northbound) Navan, Co. Meath - Closure commences week 8th - 12th April to facilitate the N51/R147 Junction Upgrade works. The road closure of the Abbey Road Link (L8950) will come into effect during the same week.
DURATION
The intermittent closures will be from 10.00a.m. to 4.30p.m from Monday 8th April and are estimated to last approx 12 weeks.

Ratholdren Road-bound Traffic: Via R147 to R162 Flowerhill to L3409 New Lane to N51/L3409 Ratholdren Road junction.
Diversion signs will be in place.
The works will upgrade the layout of the junction (as shown below) to include improved pedestrian and cycle facilities on all four arms of the junction. The revised junction layout will also prohibit the left turning movements from the R147 onto the Abbey Road link and from the Abbey road link onto the N51 towards Kells (the right turns from the Abbey Road link onto the R147 and onto the Abbey Road link from the N51 will continue to be prohibited).
