THERE has never been a better time to work in Meath particularly for the tens of thousands of commuters who travel out of the County each day. With rising fuel costs and pressure to return to the office now is the time to explore the opportunities. The County Meath Chambers Careers Expo which takes place on Wednesday 11 October (2-8pm) in the Ardboyne Hotel Navan will provide hundreds of commuters with the opportunity to end this daily grind.

A MEATH COUNTY COUNCIL survey has found that, almost half (48%) of the Meath commuters working outside the county, say they are hitting the roads before 7am with a further quarter leaving before 7.30am daily. The Meath Commuter survey results to date show that over 85% of Meath residents said they were happy where they live but a staggering 90% are interested in working closer to home and more flexible working hours.
