Respa: For more than 75 years, Respa Beds has been crafting beds and mattresses from our home in Oldcastle, Co. Meath, helping families, hotels, and guests all over Ireland wake up rested & refreshed. What began in 1947 as a local bed manufacturer has grown into one of Ireland’s most trusted sleep brands – still proudly Irish, still handcrafted, and still obsessed with comfort, quality, and doing things the right way. Today, a Respa bed is more than a product. It’s the result of generations of know-how, modern sleep technology, and a team who genuinely cares about how you feel when you wake up. From your first conversation with a retailer or hospitality partner, to the moment your new mattress is in place, our goal is simple: to help you sleep better, every single night.
Boliden Tara Mines: One of Europes Largest Zinc Mines. Tara in Ireland is one of Europe's largest zinc mines located just north of Dublin. Since mining began in 1977, more than 85 million tonnes of ore have been extracted. Boliden acquired the mine in 2004. In recent years, Tara has focused on improving its cost position through productivity enhancing activities and cost savings measures. In Tara, both zinc and lead concentrates are produced mainly for the European market.
The aim of the Meath Women in Business & Technology network is to foster and encourage business women to grow in enterprise, entrepreneurship or self-employment and to share their experiences. The initiative seeks to bring business women together, whether they own their own company or play a leading role in one. Managed by County Meath Chamber in partnership with Meath LEO, the Meath Women in Biz & Tech Network is proudly sponsored by Meta.
