Abellio Production Ltd is a fast-growing new start up paper production company set up in Kells Co. Meath. As we continue to enjoy growth, this will naturally bring opportunities to our staff to step up into new roles and bring exciting career progression over time. We are currently seeking to fill several roles in our production facility.

Our staff working environment: clean room facilities, conditioned temperature and humidity working space, canteen with fresh ground coffee machine equal to any café, relaxed and supportive management style.
The purpose of the role is to ensure products are manufactured and packed in compliance with Abellio Productions Quality Standards. The goal is to achieve the highest possible output of quality cones on your shift. Important tasks are effective handovers, communication with the Operations Supervisor (Ops SUP), Operators and QC Packers and leaving the clean room in a manner that you would be happy to receive it.

This role reports to the Quality Manager and must follow their instructions.

We are looking for an experienced Technician to join our rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights)

Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

· Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety and Ethical Conduct guidelines and maintain a working environment which is supportive and respectful of other employees.

· Working closely with all operations staff to ensure product compliance to company standards and specifications across all production lines - communication is essential to a successful shift.

· Continue to review and develop inspection reports to ensure they are fit for purpose.

· Carry out QC verification on previous shift QC product, complete further verification through a secondary QC and release where possible to inventory or report back issues to operations.

· Using the ERP system (Verify) to positively release product for dispatch. Assist in the generation, review and maintenance of SOP’s where applicable

· Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly

· Perform routine and random inspections across all stages of production daily. Ensure QC criteria and sampling plan is being followed.

· Carry out GMP audits against Hygiene and Housekeeping Standards.

· Communicate quality or compliance concerns to team leaders/management

· Assist with the Verify Production and Quality Portal role out and usage across the production team.

· Assist Quality Manager in implementing all necessary protocols to achieve and maintain ISO 9001.

· Gather raw material samples for testing.

· Train new staff on company standards.

· Assist with production where required in general housekeeping and cleaning duties.

· Undertake other duties of a general nature that may be required by your manager or the business.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
