Trainee Sales Executive (Navan)
Kylemore Cars is Ireland’s largest independent used car
retailer. Established in 2013, the business has grown from strength to
strength, building a strong reputation for quality used vehicles, exceptional
customer service and a straightforward approach to car buying.
In 2022, Kylemore Cars marked a major milestone with the
opening of its purpose-built, state-of-the-art NZEB showroom in Ballymount,
Dublin 12. The first facility of its kind in Ireland, the showroom reflects the
company’s continued investment in innovation, sustainability and the customer
experience.
Building on more than a decade of growth, Kylemore Cars is
now entering another exciting chapter. In late 2026, the company will expand
its dealership footprint with the opening of a new used car showroom at
Balmoral in Navan, bringing the Kylemore Cars offering directly to customers
across County Meath and the wider North-East region.
Our arrival in Navan comes at an exciting time for the town
and, in particular, the wider Balmoral area. Significant public and private
investment is helping to transform and better connect the area, including the
recently completed Blackwater River Town Bridge and Cycleway linking Balmoral
with Blackwater Park and Navan town centre, together with the development of
the new landmark Navan Primary Care Centre at Balmoral.
These developments reflect the wider ambition for Navan and
County Meath as a place to live, work and do business. Kylemore Cars is
delighted to become part of that continued growth and to complement the
investment already taking place through our own significant commitment to the
area, creating new employment opportunities and bringing our established retail
offering to County Meath.
The expansion also reflects the progressive approach being
taken towards economic development within County Meath, with continued
investment in infrastructure alongside supports designed to encourage
businesses to establish, grow and create employment within the county.
As part of this exciting expansion, we are now recruiting
for a number of key positions to form our new Navan team, including Trainee
Sales Executives.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin
and develop a career in automotive sales with one of Ireland’s largest
independent used car retailers.
You do not need previous motor industry or car sales
experience. We are looking for people with the right attitude, personality and
ambition who are willing to learn and who enjoy working with customers.
Working alongside experienced colleagues and supported by
structured training, you will learn every stage of the Kylemore Cars sales
process – from handling an initial customer enquiry and understanding their
requirements through to vehicle presentation, test drives, trade-ins, finance,
deposits and ultimately vehicle handover.
With more than 20 vehicle brands available across our stock,
you will develop extensive product knowledge while learning how to match
customers with the vehicle best suited to their needs and budget.
This is a demanding but rewarding role and an opportunity to
build the foundations of a long-term career in sales.
Duties & Responsibilities
As you develop within the role, you will learn to:
- Engage professionally with customers across
showroom, telephone and online enquiries.
- Build rapport with customers and understand their
individual motoring needs.
- Develop strong knowledge of our extensive range of
vehicles.
- Present and demonstrate vehicles confidently and
professionally.
- Accompany customers on vehicle test drives.
- Understand the trade-in appraisal process.
- Develop the confidence to present vehicle pricing
and purchasing options.
- Learn how vehicle finance forms part of the
customer purchasing journey.
- Maintain timely and professional follow-up with
prospective customers.
- Accurately record customer interactions and sales
activity using our CRM and dealership systems.
- Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Motor
Finance, Vehicle Preparation and Customer Experience.
- Develop towards achieving individual sales and
customer experience targets.
- Deliver
the high standard of customer service expected of the Kylemore Cars brand.
The Successful Candidate

- Holds
a full, clean driving licence.
Previous sales, retail, hospitality or customer service
experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
