The importance of women in business investing time in nourishing their overall wellbeing is the focus of the autumnal meeting of the Meath Women in Biz & Tech Network next week.

Open to all women in business irrespective of what stage the business is at, the network is a collaboration between County Meath Chamber and the Local Enterprise Office in Meath - both centres of advice and support for businesses in the county. The network is proudly sponsored by Meta.

There are five guests who will talk around the ‘Mind, Body and Soul,’ theme for this gathering and they are Dr Kate McCann - EMDOC, Moira & Jenny Murphy of Flowers by Moira, popular Meath podcaster and comedian Justine Stafford and Adele Roche, colour and design consultant.

Chief Executive of County Meath Chamber, Paula McCaul encourages businesswomen to come along and connect with this diverse group of businesswomen “whether you own your own company or play a leading role in one you are most welcome.  The Meath Women in Biz & Tech network was established to encourage women to grow in enterprise and to share experiences. The value of the connections made on the day is immense and as anyone who has attended previous events will agree, the network always generates positive energy.”

As well as the opportunity to network and to find out more about the guests and what their experience and advice is about minding their own mind, body and soul, attendees can savour a three-course lunch and there will be several spot prizes.

Aoife Fegan, Senior Enterprise Development Officer with the Local Enterprise Office in Meath said, “the WIB&T network was formed in-part to address the under representation of female led businesses.”

“It has grown to be an inspiring and uplifting network of women and has become an integral part in highlighting success stories and encouraging more women to access enterprise supports and to ‘open doors to new markets’ for their businesses. Its value cannot be overstated.”

The guests will chat to MC Elaine Keogh, co-founder of Solstice Media Ltd and former journalist/broadcaster. The WIB&T network has four events spread throughout the year, the final one of 2024 will be just before Christmas. Some seats are still available HERE
