“International Women’s Day is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful opportunity for women in business to connect, collaborate, and inspire one another.  I am proud to champion this initiative which kick starts our Meath WIB+T network again for 2025” said Paula McCaul, CEO of County Meath Chamber.

 

She confirmed that the guests for the March 5th event are Mairead McGuinness, former European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union, and RTÉ Television producer/director, Kate Olohan. 

 

The Women in Biz & Tech Network, along with National Women’s Enterprise Day and International Women’s Day, are essential for fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem within Meath,” said Aoife Fegan, Senior Enterprise Development Officer, Local Enterprise Office Meath.

 

“Bringing businesswomen together from all walks of life creates a sense of community, inspires each other, and drives economic growth within Meath. These events continue to celebrate this great network and the achievements of women in business on local, national and international stages.  The number of women starting their own business and accessing supports from the Local Enterprise Office continues to grow year on year and is a testament to the success of networks like this which inspire others,”  she added.

 

The Women in Biz +Tech Network is a collaboration between County Meath Chamber and Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Meath and it is sponsored by Meta.  The MC who chats on stage to the guests is Elaine Keogh of Solstice Media Ltd.

 

Hundreds of women have attended the network events that have been held in the luxurious surroundings of the award winning The Station House Hotel in Kilmessan.

 

Paula McCaul added, “in response to very positive feedback after previous events we are allocating additional time for networking before and after the three course lunch in the fabulous Station House Hotel who recently joined Ireland’s Blue Book.  This is one of the most popular events of the year and demand for tickets is strong.
