County Meath Chamber has continued to lead with purpose and energy throughout the first half of 2025, delivering impactful supports and initiatives for the local business community.  Backed by a strong executive board and representing a diverse membership from entrepreneurs to multinationals, the Chamber remains focused on its core mission:  to connect, support and represent business while championing Meath as the place and space to thrive.

Earlier this year Niamh Giffney was elected as the first female President of County Meath Chamber, an historic milestone for the organisation. Speaking at the AGM, Ms. Giffney stated: “Meath is a county rich in enterprise and innovation. I’m honoured to take on this role and look forward to working closely with the Chamber team and members to help Meath continue to thrive.” Read more here

In March, the Chamber partnered with LMETB to host the largest Apprenticeship Expo in Ireland, attracting thousands of visitors, national attention and a visit from Minister James Lawless. “This Apprenticeship Expo provides a great opportunity for students to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities, to connect with potential employers, and to speak to education providers directly about the programmes available in the region.” Read More Here

The Meath Business Owners Network (MBON) is thriving in 2025.  Its monthly meetings bring together a dynamic community of local entrepreneurs and business leaders through a carefully curated programme of events delivered by County Meath Chamber. From high-impact seminars on essential topics such as funding opportunities, cyber security, financial management, and HR consultancy to exclusive site visits to some of the Chamber’s larger member businesses, MBON has it all! 2025 is shaping up to be another exceptional year for the Meath Women in Business & Tech Network (WIB+T), a vibrant, supportive community where businesswomen across Meath come together to connect, share experiences, and grow in confidence and enterprise. Over 150 businesswomen attended this year’s two flagship events: an International Women’s Day celebration in March and a Summer Leadership event in June.  There are two more events to follow in September and December, in collaboration with Meath LEO.  Read More Here

Meath Chamber members are not only supported locally on various strategic bodies and committees, you are part of the nationwide and international network that champions enterprise and ensures the voice of business is heard at every level.  Through our affiliation with Chambers Ireland, the country's largest business network, you are part of a powerful national voice that spans every region and sector.  We are also connected globally through Eurochambres and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), giving Meath business a voice in international forums including the UN, WTO and G20. In the first half of 2025 a Chambers Ireland delegation visited the European Commission in Brussels and also visited Edinburgh for an Energy Mission. Learn More

We focus our efforts on the issues that matter most to our members, working both strategically and tactically to create long-term, positive impact for Meath’s economy. Chamber representatives regularly engage with members, policymakers, public servants, and stakeholders, while also participating in a wide range of boards, forums, and committees to ensure that Meath’s voice is heard where it matters most.
