County Meath Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic brought together businesses from across the county on Friday, 31 July at Ashbourne Golf Club, with teams representing almost 100 businesses and organisations enjoying a memorable day of networking, competition and camaraderie.
Bathed in fine weather from start to finish, participants enjoyed an excellent day on the course and a warm welcome from the team at Ashbourne Golf Club, whose hospitality and professionalism helped make the event another outstanding success.
The County Meath Chamber Golf Classic has become a key fixture in the Chamber calendar, providing members and businesses with an opportunity to strengthen relationships, make new connections and engage in informal networking while showcasing the exceptional golfing experiences available throughout County Meath.
As part of the Chamber’s commitment to promoting business across the county, the Golf Classic rotates annually between golf clubs, highlighting the diversity and quality of Meath’s golfing offering. Ashbourne Golf Club was proudly showcased as the 2026 host venue.
The success of the event was made possible through the tremendous support of the business community, including headline sponsors, associate sponsors, tee box sponsors, prize sponsors, goodie bag sponsors, branding partners, merchandise supporters and many other contributors.
This collaborative approach reflects the true spirit of the Chamber Golf Classic: an event supported by business, connecting business, and showcasing another important business sector within County Meath.
Niamh Giffney, President of County Meath Chamber, said:
"Our Golf Classic continues to grow as one of the Chamber’s most popular networking events because it brings together businesses from every sector in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The support we receive each year from sponsors College Group and Glenveagh, participating teams and host venues demonstrates the strength of our business community. I would like to thank Ashbourne Golf Club for their exceptional hospitality and congratulate everyone who helped make the day such a success."
Paula McCaul, CEO of County Meath Chamber, said:
"County Meath Chamber is proud to bring this event to different golf clubs across the county each year, giving businesses an opportunity to experience the outstanding golfing facilities that Meath has to offer. We are incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors College Group and Glenveagh, Associate Sponsor SuperValu Kells, teams and volunteers whose support ensures the continued success of the Golf Classic.
