Meath Women in Biz & Tech Summer Social to Celebrate Confidence, Style and Connection

Showcasing the very best of Meath business, style and racing, the Meath Women in Biz & Tech Network will host its first Summer Social at Navan Racecourse on Wednesday, 27th August. Proudly hosted by Chamber member Navan Racecourse, the event promises an uplifting afternoon of networking, inspiration, fashion and local connection in one of the county’s most iconic venues.

Three businesswomen who specialise in helping women look and feel confident will share insights and advice at the event, which will explore confidence and how to make it your best accessory.

Exploring confidence and how to make it your best accessory, will be Fiona Hanily, owner of Belle Mariee Bridal in Athboy which is one of the most famous bridal and special occasion boutiques in Ireland, award winning milliner Fiona Rafter whose creations are worn at home and abroad and by stylist Fiona Colwell whose style advice service is booked out months in advance.

They will talk about their businesses, how they have worked to build their own confidence and what it is like to help other women, including brides, feel amazing.

Importantly they will be answering questions and sharing tips on how to identify and enhance your own unique style, the difference a purposely built wardrobe can have, what fashion is in store for AW26 and even make predictions for next Summer!

The WIBT network is a collaboration between the Chamber and the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) in Meath.

Aoife Fegan, Senior Enterprise Officer with LEO Meath.
Women entrepreneurs play a vital role across Meath’s micro-enterprises and SMEs, often balancing many responsibilities while building businesses, leading teams and creating employment. Through the Local Enterprise Office in Meath, we see every day the ambition, resilience and potential of women-led businesses, and we are proud to support them with practical advice, training and mentoring. This event is a timely reminder that investing in yourself is also part of investing in your business. I would encourage women in business across the county to join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and valuable afternoon of networking, inspiration and support,”
The WIBT Summer Social is at Navan Racecourse and attendees are promised an afternoon of fun, fashion and local connections.

Women are at the heart of many of County Meath’s most successful businesses, driving growth, innovation and leadership across every sector. Our Summer Social is about celebrating that contribution while exploring the important role confidence plays in business and in life. We are delighted to welcome three inspiring contributors who will share their insights, advice and encouragement with our audience. Confidence is not about fitting a mould; it is about owning your own style, your strengths and your presence. The strong level of bookings shows how much this theme resonates, and I am really looking forward to an uplifting and enjoyable event,” said Paula McCaul, CEO of County Meath Chamber.

There will also be prizes for the Best Dressed and Best Hat.  Refreshments and lunch will be served.

The WIBT Network is sponsored by Meta. The aim of the Meath Women in Business & Technology network is to foster and encourage business women to grow in enterprise, entrepreneurship or self-employment and to share their experiences. The initiative which has been running for over eight years continues to successfully connect businesswomen, whether they own their own company or play a leading role in one.
