MBON is thriving! Powered by a dynamic group of Meath Chamber members, including Mr. Tayto who invited us all to visit Tayto Snacks Ashbourne today and what a welcome we received!
Our sincere thanks to MD John O’Connor who meet with us and brought us through the Tayto Snacks timeline, from Joe ‘Spud’ Murphy to the Royal County ![]()
The dream was to produce Irish crisps. Today Tayto Snacks employs 350 people in Meath and it’s iconic brand still champions all things Ireland from its potato stock (10% of the national potato crop), its flavourings, its packaging, its logistics and its brand marketing
A note of thanks to Keith Kenneally Facilities Manager, who coordinated our Chamber visit and facilities tour today. Our members were fascinated by the production process and the sheer range of brands. They were impressed by the focus on sustainability and energy efficiency and the positive culture within the organisation. The tour was fascinating from start from end and hugely informative.
We are proud to have Tayto Snacks as Corporate Members of County Meath Chamber. We wish them well as they continue to develop and expand their HQ in Co. Meath and look forward to working with them…Exciting times ahead!
Thanks to PTSB for their continued sponsorship of the Meath Business Owners Network.
